Ingredients
- 81 oz Bush’s pinto beans
- ½ cup Salted Butter
- 1 tbs Finally ground black pepper
Directions
- Drain cans of beans
- Add beans, pepper and butter to frying pan
- Turn on medium heat
- Mash! Don't use a blender, only use a masher.
- Leave on medium heat until it is bubbling. Patience!
- Turn burner to med-low and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionaly (scrap the bottom so they don't stick)
- It will have thickened a bit when finished and it will further thicken as it cools.
