Ingredients
- ¾ cups + 1 tbs salted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups oats
- 3 cups raisins
Notes
- one batch makes two baker's dozen
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180ºC)
- Mix butter and sugars till creamy
- Mix in eggs and vanilla
- In separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt
- Add flour mixture to butter mixture and mix until almost combined
- fold in oats first then raisns
- Use ice cream scoop to place on cookie sheets, press down with a fork
- Bake 7 min, then switch tray positions and bake an additional 7 min
- Let cool
